Local Policy Governance and Reporting Manager (Trưởng nhóm quản trị chính sách và báo cáo)

The role is to develop, maintain and implement the PVA internal regulation’s governance risk management and assurance frameworks.

1. Ensure all changes and update of GGM be informed to relevant departments/ management level timely & accurately.

2. Ensure the compliance of PVA with GGM.

1. Perform risk management tasks, which relates to the Group Governance Manual (GGM) & PVA Governance manuals. Details:

+ Provide on ongoing tracking updates/ changes of Group Governance Manual (GGM) and PVA manual, reviewing the effectiveness of local manuals and any deviation(s) from Group policies to provide consultations to PVA departments on how to embedding the new requirements to local manual; how the implementation should be executed; and any queries regarding GGM.

+ Perform and prepare mandatory PVA risk reports to certify management’s compliance in respect of their adherence to the GGM’s requirements as applicable and exceptions. Ex: AsoC exercise; Business Control Annual Report; Breach and Exception reports

+ Review and update the set of PVA risk management document set.

+ Propose, establish and remain the Policy Control Process to standardize the monitoring protocol and structure of PVA’s OM/procedure/process/guideline/Memo.

+ Propose and perform the GGM implementation test check at PVA's departments.

2. Participate and perform deepdive, quick scan test as requested, which includes: studying relevant documents, analyzing data/ information to provide assessment on aspect of policy compliance, contributing/drafting report.

3. Build-up/ contribute to PVA Risk culture activities. Instance, creating PVA risk management materials, which serves for training, guidance purpose regarding GGM implementation and other relevant risk management.

4. Coordinate with other departments/ units to facilitate the PVA risk management tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed. Details:

+ Support complaint handling, provide operational risk’s point of view based on supporting evidences.

+ Support to prepare papers for PVA Risk Committee meeting.

+ Provide comments to any draft/ new released laws, decrees, circulars.

Others:

  • Proactively look for better ways to improve the effectiveness of the risk management activities;
  • Other tasks to be assigned by the Line manager or Company’s management (if any).

Job requirements:

Qualifications

Mandatory: Bachelor ‘degree in Economic, Finance, Administration, Technology &Information systems.

Advantage: Degree qualified, with a relevant professional qualification such as: MBA, ACCA.

Having certificate in insurance, finance business, business management

Experience

  • 3-4 years progressive experience in roles to perform risk management/ operations in enterprise or finance/ banking projects.
  • Experience with local and global policy research, analysis, and development.
  • Candidates having experience in insurance/ finance/ banking industry will be a plus.

Knowledge and skill

  • Good written and verbal communication (both English and Vietnamese), critical thinking skills, effective interpersonal skill and strong project management experience.
  • Ability to analyze, communicate, articulate governance, standards and framework.
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively.
  • Customer services and positive mind-set.
  • High sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality.
