VP / AVP, Strategic Projects & Platform Specialist, DBS Digital Exchange - (WD62987)
Business Function:
DBS enables institutional and accredited investors to tap into an integrated digital asset ecosystem that serves the entire digital asset value chain from deal origination to tokenisation, listing, custody and trading within a trusted and regulated bank environment.
DBS Digital Exchange serves as a regulated platform for participants to gain exposure to the ever-growing digital economy through the DBS digital asset ecosystem for fund raising through tokenisation and secondary trading of digital assets including cryptocurrencies by leveraging on blockchain technology.
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a professional with Exchange and/or Exchange related experience focusing in the blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital token issuance and trading arena. The incumbent should have demonstrated ability in understanding and spearheading product strategies and roadmaps in the digital space, with a keen interest in evolving financial industry trends. The incumbent should possess sound product leadership, project management and testing, industry research and innovation capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis, design development, provide direction and execution within the Digital Exchange ecosystem
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders from diverse levels of the organisation and vendors to provide strategic and future-ready technology solutions
- Define and gather business needs and take part to further develop the Digital Exchange ecosystem using a comprehensive approach
- Develop and support technical relationships with all participants in the Digital Exchange ecosystem
- Identify business requirements and develop respective business cases
- Lead project planning, delivery, and user acceptance testing
- Monitor and support post implementation of all Digital Exchange platforms
- Work across businesses with internal and external stakeholders enabling smooth delivery of business operations & processes of the Digital Exchange’s platforms
- Create and maintain process documents, technical specifications, and other relevant documentation for ongoing support
- Ensure the business initiatives and operating functions meet DBS Group’s risk, governance, and conduct policies
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering with a keen interest in finance and financial products
- At least 7 years’ relevant experience in a Securities or Derivatives Exchanges with good knowledge of systems supporting trading, settlements and/or custody operations
- Experience in Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and use cases of deploying DLT applications in the issuance and trading in securities tokens and cryptocurrencies will be highly regarded
- Strong people skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Sound understanding and direct experience in all phases of the project life cycle
- Experience in testing and leading testing teams
- Effective written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical know-how and an individual who can strive in a cross-functional team
