The Opportunity 

Want to raise standards for quality? As Quality Associate I, you’ll have the opportunity to find ways to improve quality at the manufacturing level.

The QA Associate works closely with QA operational and compliance teams in a support function to ensure compliance to relevant SOPs and cGMP standards.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

• Your Responsibilities:
• Ensuring compliance to the relevant internal and Global Dechra SOP’s/Policies as well as local and international standards/regulations.
• Develop and promote a sustainable culture of quality within the business unit working with the BU and Site Leadership team.
• Maintain the Quality Events log on site and generate quality events.
• Preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist in generating data for and attending Management Review meetings.
• Update compliance requirements based on change management.
• Facilitate the change management review program and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of actions.
• Assist in the delivery of APQRs in a timely manner.
• Provide support to the Quality department including the following:
• Scanning/sending batch records to internal and external customers.
• Control, distribute & archiving of incoming quality documentation.
• Filing training system documentation.
• Retrieval and control of quality / cGMP documentation.
• Supporting a quality/ continuous improvement culture within operations, where all team members are engaged in and participate in continuous improvement activities including:
• Facilitating and support New Hire/Contractor Induction Training.
• Assisting with the creation and delivery of quality-oriented training presentations.
• Additional duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate

• Preferred a minimum of 1 years in a quality assurance role in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Preferred experience in GMP manufacturing and compliance with demonstrated knowledge and experience of internal process/systems, as well as experience of related quality assurance principles applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Preferred to have competency in management and tracking of Change Management, CAPA, Deviations, Root-Cause Analysis, Risk Management, Customer Complaints, APQR, auditing and audit reports.
• Preferred previous experience working with FDA and local regulatory agency inspections.
