The Role & What You Will Be Doing

This is a management role, reporting to the Customer Services Director in the Order to Cash function. Suitable candidates will manage a team of Regional Operations Specialists; working to optimize the order to cash cycle, minimizing supply chain disruptions and delivering best in class customer interactions. This opportunity will require an individual to be structured yet agile with the ability to build standardized solutions.

  • Lead a World Class team that effectively manages customer needs and business requirements whilst driving the efficient flow of supply through the supply chain.
  • Manage all day-to-day activities associated within customer service operations – be able to support transactional execution as required.
  • Provide guidance and act as point of escalation in the resolution of complex issues for the team.
  • Cultivate a mindset of innovation, engagement, and empowerment within the team.
  • Develop an understanding of product flows; with an ability to understand and interpret the financial, physical, and transactional flow of material through the Viatris network.
  • Experienced in global logistics, with a broad knowledge of INCO Terms, customs processes, and documentation requirements, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to ensure timely and seamless movement of the Viatris portfolio of products to 3rd party customers.
  • Ensure that all applicable trade compliance requirements and regulations (FPCA, SOX, etc) are understood and adhered to in accordance with Viatris policy.
  • Drive collaboration and build relationships with internal (Master Data, Finance, Warehousing, Commercial, Planning) and external stakeholders (Customers, Freight Forwarders, to proactively eliminate blocks with the Supply Chain.
  • Responsible for supporting future integration initiatives to align to standard Centre of Excellence processes.
  • Proficient in the development process documentation aimed at optimizing supply chain activities.
  • Support the growth and development of team skills and knowledge by creating an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Deliver results. Viatris’ supply chain operational metrics assess critical activities and identify actions that will sustain or enhance performance.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager is required with experience managing a team.
  • Minimum 3 years supply chain management experience, encompass visioning, planning, critical thinking, with strong communications, persuading, influencing, decision making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience 
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferable.
  • Experience in global order management (pick/pack process, multiple payment methods, Modes of transport, INCO terms, import and export processes and all associated documentation) essential.
  • Experience with dynamic and complex supply chains is preferred. 
  • Performs well in a team setting with collaborative input and decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management activities highly desirable.
  • Experienced in cross functional collaboration with diverse and multi-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with demonstrated success leading a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
  • Other languages a distinct advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office systems essential.
