EY- Cyber Security - CRCR – Consulting – Manager

As part of our EY-Cyber security in the Technology Consulting team, you’ll contribute technically to Cyber Security client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.

The opportunity

We’re looking for Manager who should have deep technical understanding of Cybersecurity governance, IT security regulatory requirements across US, Europe and other regions of the world, with ability to build and execute Cybersecurity strategy for large Fortune 500 clients across different industry sectors with strong competence with products and capabilities for strategy, risk, compliance and resiliency requirements from our clients. 

An understanding of service competitor landscape, pricing methodologies, brand positioning and team management, etc will be excellent addition to the Cybersecurity skills for the role. In line with EY’s commitment to quality, you’ll confirm that work is of the highest quality as per EY’s quality standards and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential member of the team, you’ll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

Your key responsibilities

Reporting to the competency leader for Cyber Strategy, Risk, Compliance, Resilience and Emerging Technology and will be responsible for:

  • Defining, developing and implementing strategic go-to-market plans in collaboration with local EY member firms in Americas, EMEIA and APAC.
  • Support and drive the overall growth strategy for the Cybersecurity practice as part of the leadership team.
  • Identify and drive development of market differentiators including new products, solutions, automation etc.
  • Develop and rollout branding and marketing strategy including items such as solution brochures, sales videos, thought leadership, community engagement etc.
  • Bring thought leadership for Cyber Strategy, Risk, Compliance and Resilience offering for our clients. 
  • Own end-to-end sales opportunity qualification and pursuit, including drafting RFP responses, presenting proposal during Orals, drafting State of Work (SoW) leveraging expertise in scoping, solutioning and costing for Cybersecurity Strategy, Risk, Compliance and Resilience capabilities.
  • Drive collaborations and synergies across team members working from different geo-location of the world. 
  • Manage key performance indicators for large delivery team spread across separate continents. 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Ideal candidate for the role is someone who have experience with building strong Cybersecurity delivery teams same time have ability to generate Cybersecurity business with understanding of end to end sales cycle in a consulting world. 
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of generating business organically with existing team capabilities and drive inorganic growth with building new relationships, developing new service offering and enabling new markets.
  • Proven track record in building and developing a high performing Cybersecurity delivery team for Cyber Strategy, Risk, Compliance, Resilience capabilities. 
  • A Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing forward looking Cybersecurity strategy for large enterprise. 
  • A Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing key performance indicators for an enterprise risk program.
  • A Subject Matter Expert (SME) with multiple aspects enterprise risk management lifecycle.
  • A thought leader who understand and can define Cybersecurity needs of our clients towards 2030 & beyond. 
  • An enterprise resiliency expert who can drive large programs for client of EY to effectively manage incidents.
  • Experience leading large teams for client IT regulation audits, maturing assessments, readiness assessments.
  • Experience with leading teams across geo-locations, define effective processes and enhance delivery quality. 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • At least 12 years of overall experience
  • At least 8 years Cybersecurity Strategy, Risk, Compliance and Resilience experience 
  • Bachelor or college degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • MBA (Good to have)

  • CISM
  • ISO 27001 ISMS Lead Implementer
