Job Summary

Responsible for marketing plan development, implementation to form tactics & align with sales team to achieve the annual target under Code of Conduct of DKSH, IRPMA & clients

General Responsibilities

  1. Develop marketing strategy to achieve annual sales target assigned by the company/client
  2. Propose annual advertisement & promotional budget and implement tactics to achieve business objectives
  3. Engage sales team with adequate resources allocation to develop regional plans and maximize business opportunities
  4. Develop key opinion leaders to increase rare disease awareness and share management experience
  5. Monitor market dynamics and adjust plans accordingly to anticipate future trends and increase competitive advantages
  6. Identify opportunities of patient journey for assigned rare diseases and align internal & clients’ resources to improve disease awareness and diagnosis rate
  7. Leverage stakeholders to shape better rare disease policy and improve disease management quality

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  1. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry / market / competitors / customers
  2. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and a proven sales track record in assigned products/services/systems and an existing network of contacts
  3. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements of products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, warranties, etc.
  4. Demonstrate advanced negotiation skills & advanced research and analytical skills
  5. Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  6. Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken

Soft skills

  1. Well communication skill internally & externally
  2. Influence power to engage team members & motivate the morale
  3. Fluent coach skill to increase people productivity
  4. High emotional intelligence to work under pressure

Education

Bachelor above, major in Pharmacy or Medical Science related; MBA preferred

Work Experience

  1. >5-year experience in pharmaceutical marketing function
  2. Rare Disease and/or specialty care related experience is preferred
