We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President – Fund Administration to join our Luxembourg Fund Accounting Oversight team. This role is located in 2-4 rue Eugene Ruppert, Luxembourg.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Ensure the provision of accurate and timely services to all internal and external parties. Monitor daily processes ensuring appropriate levels of review and control.
  • Responsibility for implementing and maintaining a robust control environment for the function while managing risk.
  • Ensure each team member understands and follows the relevant processes, controls, procedures and systems operating within their area.
  • Encourage and motivate staff to be pro-active in reporting and addressing operational issues. Ensure team members are aware of issues and they escalate where appropriate.
  • Resolves complex escalated issues from team members.
  • Manage deliverables and operations across multiple clients, time-zones and different fund accounting operational processes.
  • Communicate effectively and manage relationships with clients and other external parties including auditors, regulators.
  • Manage the on-boarding of new business into the Team.
  • Assistance in monitoring and maintaining outsourcing governance in accordance with CSSF Circulars

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Problem Solving skills
  • Strong numeracy understanding and attention to detail
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Good Communication skills – both written & verbal
  • Proven Organization & Time Management skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a pressurized environment
  • Conscientious in approach and able to work proactively
  • Third level qualification in business related discipline. Accounting Qualifications preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Lux GAAP, IFRS reporting guidelines.
  • Proven work experience within a similar environment. Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
  • No direct report - management skills is not needed.
