An opportunity exists for a Research Associate to join the ASEAN Consumer & Internet team based in Singapore. The role will entail an understanding of companies in the Consumer/Retail/Internet space in the region. The role will require the candidate to support the Analyst in database management, financial modeling & analysis, client presentations and research report writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining earnings models leveraging skills in accounting, finance and economics
- Keeping abreast of consumer/retail/internet industry-related news flow and on-the-ground trends
- Researching and writing reports focused on a company, sector or thematic
- Responding to requests for data and information from internal and external clients
- Assisting in the design and preparation of analyst marketing strategy and materials
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skillset
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Have at least 1 year of equity research or relevant industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of financial modelling with eye for detail required
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills
- Ability to effectively work with diverse cultures in a global team with sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultures
- Quick learner with an ability to work well within timelines
- Proactive with strong professional accountability
- Good communication skills.
