Munich Re’s MGA/TPA Claims team is responsible for managing and monitoring primary insurance claims portfolio as well as providing claims consulting services to Munich Re’s clients globally.

Your field of activities will be varied: not only consulting clients on how to improve their claims process but also managing individual claims, monitoring and analyzing claims portfolios and implementing new claims technologies. With your contribution as a claims expert. you will have the opportunity to help drive the digital transformation claims management and support new business initiatives to ensure that MR Claims achieve their Ambition 2025.

YOUR JOB

• Monitoring of clients in all claims related matters. In particular, conducting claims audits and due diligences, also in cooperation with other MR international organizations and business units
• Managing claims falling within the division’s area of responsibility as well as evaluation of accounts via agreed KPIs, estimation of exposures and loss drivers
• Supporting client management and underwriting by giving claims feedback, advice on product developments, lessons learned, wording issues and/or enhancing their claims strategies
• Consulting and offering advice to primary insurance clients to improve their claims performance in terms of structure, strategy, operation and business realization
• Enabling primary insurance clients and business units to found new claims units and improve claims processes
• Taking ownership for projects, i.e manage workshops and steer meetings to map out claim processes including first notice of loss, policy administration system, fast track claims, estimates, subrogation and litigation management

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree and extensive professional experience in France and other European countries non-life (Motor, Property, Casualty) insurance market. In-depth knowledge and professional experience in the management of primary insurance claims
• Strategic thinking and ability to analyze claims processes, detect issues, investigate ways and make recommendation to resolve/improve as well as present them orally, visually and in writing
• Experience in digital claim services that could enhance the claims processes of our clients
• Ability to work systematically and independently
• Self-motivating, and preparedness to take ownership of project execution
• Focused on results and solutions, with excellent presentation skills, conflict-management skills and a good team player
• Willingness to travel internationally – sometimes also on short notice
• Excellent command of written and spoken business French and English– other European languages are advantageous
