POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of sports and entertainment law? If you are, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for an upbeat, organized and motivated Project Assistant to support the in-house legal department at Octagon Talent & Properties. You would work directly and interact daily with our team of attorneys.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Contract administration, including organizing and handling both client-related and corporate contracts
  • Manage athlete agent registration
  • Develop and maintain organizational systems for categorizing all legal requests handled by the department and all executed contracts
  • Additional duties may include assistance in commercial litigation and conducting research on various sports and entertainment law issues

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in administration, contract management or project coordination
  • College degree, a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent proof-reading skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
