As a Colour Matcher based in Smeaton Grange, NSW, you will report to the Branch Manager. You will provide professional services to PPG customers as part of the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Mix and tint/ eye match colours to formulas, as per customer orders.
• Paint mixing and tinting as per formulations.
• Complete number of tints, on time following PPG processes.
• Maintain records of products used in the production of mixed colours.
• Low level colour matching.
• Pack, label & assemble orders for delivery.
• Unpack, check & put away replenishment product.
• Ensure the warehouse area is always clean and tidy.
• Support customer requests for products or information relating to products.
• Process orders and collate appropriate paperwork.
• Cash sales reconciliation including daily banking procedures.
• Process customer credits.
• Compliance of all PPG policies and EH&S procedures.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar colour matching/tinter role.
• Knowledge of colour mixing practices.
• Demonstrated colour-matching skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of paint and consumable products.
• Ability to work with formulas.
• Valid forklift license or willingness to get one.
