Team/Area

Chief Security Office is responsible for the creation, maintenance and implementation of the information security strategy of Deutsche Bank Group. CSO steers the measures derived from the information security strategy and provides guidance to employees regarding the identification, development, implementation and execution of all processes which serve to reduce information security risk, to respond to incidents, and to establish appropriate policies and standards for information security management.

CSO division, Business Information Security and Governance, defines Information Security control objectives and conducts inclusive, reliable, threat-oriented, and risk-driven Information Security control / capability testing & governance to satisfy regulatory and organizational requirements. Team is located in the Bank’s major business hubs in Germany, the United States of America, Bucharest and India.

The Project/Management position for the main Universal Governance (UG) program within the Chief Security Office (CSO) Business Information Security & Governance, Risk and Control (BIS & GRC) has a diverse remit that varies from day to day and may include financial planning and analysis, forecasting, management reporting, HR administration and tracking, and other ad hoc requests. The role will involve working with a variety of internal stakeholders from across the business. The role will also be responsible for ad hoc as well as organizing and facilitating regular program relevant meetings. Work closely with appropriate stakeholders, management and program/project team members to ensure accuracy of reporting and documentation.

Task description

  • Execution of activities from the wide range of Project/Business Management tasks, either directly responsible for task execution or indirectly responsible via the efforts of other team members
  • Analyzing the impact of changes and evaluating the corresponding changes to cost and the impact to the forecast
  • Establish and maintain high quality FTE and financial data in dbClarity (Project management application)
  • Support with all FTE administration and processes (creating new roles, internal transfers, extensions to contracts etc)
  • Deliver any ad hoc business support requests from UG leadership team
  • Provide a decision-enabling/delivery support structure for all change within the UG organization.
  • Covering core topics such as enabling effective Risk Management, Benefit/Financial Management, Resource Manage-ment, Quality Assurance, Programme Planning & Milestone validation.
  • Ensures the relevant practices, tools, processes, templates and other related output to support the day-to-day activities of Programme and/or Project Managers.
  • Prepare & circulate slide decks and write the minutes (if required) for all regular meetings (like UG Program Status Update Call and others) and prepare slide decks for any non-regular UG meeting with Stakeholders like ERT teams, Regional CISOs or Capability Owners.
  • Perform regular meetings with the UG & control pillar leads to review slide decks, follow up on programme actions or to get other programme relevant updates
  • Moderate the UG relevant meetings, like the Program Status Update Call and the UG SteerCo.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Project-/Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline
  • Experience in working in a COO/Business Manager or PMO role
  • Strong communication skills (presentation/verbal and written) and interpersonal as well multi-tasking skills
  • Very good English (verbal and written)
  • Good understanding of project and program lifecycle
  • Ability to operate across complex organizations and interface with various levels of leadership throughout
  • Financial and portfolio knowledge is required to ensure compliance and rigor of the change governance framework.
  • Expert in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
