Our dynamic team, belonging to UniCredit Infrastructure & Services – ICT Release & Change team, is responsible mainly of release and change operating process, but also of implementing, and maintaining some IT4IT tools and in the specific case, focus is on home made tools used in the back end environment.
What you'll be doing
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Participate in meeting and contribute to software analysis, design, and cost estimation
- Define interfaces and develop software components to meet functional requirements
- Collaborate with the Solution Architect to plan work step for efficiency
- Design, implement and maintain Perl-based applications in IT4IT landscape
- Implement software solution based on different Open System languages
- Conduct code reviews and promote knowledge exchange with the team
- End-to-end responsibility throughout the software development life cycle (including development, testing, deployment and maintenance) according to UniCredit policies and guidelines
- Write technical documentation throughout the software development life cycle
- Analysis and resolution of incidents
- Ensure to deliver secure and good quality software within the deadlines and according to UniCredit policies and guidelines
- Contribute to team discussions by sharing your experience and your knowledge with the team
- Support continuous improvement, exploring different alternatives and technologies, able to think and propose architectural review if needed
- Be part of an international inclusive team with a diverse background
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineer or equivalent or equivalent expertise.
- At least 3 years of experience in sw engineer
- Experience with Java 8+, Oracle
- Experience with Git/Bit Bucket and Git workflows
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP API integration
- Experience working with API based on OpenAPI/Swagger
- Knowledge of Jboss, serverless app, SQL
- Knowledge of Design Patterns
- Knowledge of coding best and secure practices
- Digital and technologies knowledge background
- Solid analytical capabilities
- Good team working capabilities, in the context of medium to large project teams distributed among multiple countries / locations
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to perform under stressful conditions
- High risk awareness and solution-oriented approach
- Working experience in complex companies
- Fluent written and spoken English (min. B2)
Nice to have
- Expertise in using tools for tracking the projects tasks/test activities (like ALM QC, JIRA)
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, Web Services
- Experience with Cloud native applications, orchestrators and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and pipelines configuration (ex for Jenkins CI/CD)
- Knowledge of JPA
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk / Dynatrace
- Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean, Kanban)
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them in order to define the best solutions
