Our 18 bed Neuroscience ICU cares for patients who suffer from severe brain injuries, stroke or brain tumors and many are post-op from a neurosurgical procedures. Neuroscience ICU nurses frequently assist with delicate procedures such as inserting central lines and pulmonary artery catheters. You might also assist physicians with bedside procedures such as inserting a drain in the patient's skull to reduce pressure.

This is a full time 12 hour shift position located at NYP/Columbia University Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Two years of acute care experience in a hospital setting

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license 
  • BCLS certification
