Senior Manager, Product Management, MicroStation

Location: UK, or Europe. (Office Based, Home Based or Hybrid)

Position Summary:

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our team as a Senior Manager for the MicroStation product management team.

The ideal candidate has a business-orientation and exceptional skills in product management. You have an inherent desire to manage both products and people. You are ideally already coming from a Senior Product Management level and are ready for more responsibility. 

Your primary responsibility will be coaching a team of product managers and driving the success of a group of related products. You will inspire effective leadership, prioritize competing requests, and foster collaboration within the team.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Motivating and coaching the product team to reach goals, assisting with:
• Gathering and analyzing market data (users, prospects, competitors) as input into product planning. 
• Deeply understanding customer needs and developing clear and compelling value propositions.
• Creating and maintaining a comprehensive product roadmap and backlog that aligns with the overall business strategy. 
• Investigating industry trends to identify both opportunities for partnerships. 
• Defining, monitoring, and analyzing product metrics.
• Liaising with UX and Development teams. 
• You will oversee all phases of the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring high-quality product delivery.
• Collaborate with the Product Marketing team with product positioning, ensuring a shared understanding of product features.
• Present to internal and external parties.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in a Group Product Manager role or Senior Product Management role, with experience managing a team.
• Experience with MicroStation or other related industry CAD software such as AutoCAD products is desirable. 
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and coach other product managers.
• Familiarity with empowered team frameworks, agile methodologies, and product development processes.
• Excellent at communicating with a wide range of audiences.
• Strategic thinker with high level of business acumen
• Strong people skills with experience in fostering talent and managing teams.
• Proven track record of proactively identifying and mitigating obstacles to accelerate time to market.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
