Job Description

Reporting to Product Safety Manager, the responsibilities of the incumbent will be as follows:

  • Manage all post-marketing adverse events through follow-up call intake, documentation, and case processing.
  • Manage all clinical adverse events and submit them to local authority and ethics committees if needed.
  • Following local regulations and global guidelines on pharmacovigilance.
  • Maintain PV archive and inventory up to date.
  • Routine business contribution to brand teams.
  • Participate in audit/inspection readiness activities.
  • Support quarterly out-of-office testing and annual BCP testing.
  • Respond to requests for medical information following local procedures.
  • Provide up-to-date, accurate, factual, balanced, and timely scientific/medical information in response to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Report adverse events and product complaints that arise from Medical Information interactions within the required timelines.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and other departments.

Qualifications

  • University degree in medicine or pharmacy.
  • Preferably 1 year experience in Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in written and oral English is essential in order to facilitate communications with Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety, Regional Medical, Global Medical Information team and other headquarters functions.
  • Fluency in written and oral local language is a requirement in order to facilitate communications within the affiliate medical department, and with the National Regulatory Authority.
  • Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity.
  • Sound judgment, strong planning, and organizational skills, and the ability to get things done. Demonstrated a strong sense of urgency.
