As a Sales Engineering Manager you will have excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. You will lead a team of pre-sales Engineers who engage with business prospects, discover and assess customer requirements, prepare and present demonstrations of Google’s Cloud services, and address and overcome technical issues that arise throughout the business process.
You're an effective motivator and possess the critical interpersonal skills required to manage a diverse collection of engineering professionals. Additionally, you'll be a confident presenter with excellent oral and written communication skills. You should also maintain personal technical expertise and be prepared to engage directly with prospects as the opportunities arise. Further to this, you should feel comfortable working cross-functionally with our Product, Support, Engineering, and Sales teams.
