What You Will Be Doing

As an iOS Developer you’ll be working closely with our growing engineering team in crafting the best mobile apps the events industry has ever seen. This is a phenomenal growth opportunity for an experienced mobile developer looking to build applications that fall into the hands of hundreds of thousands of users every year.

  • Work on all aspects of iOS projects with an emphasis on intuitive, custom UI controls and interfaces that provide a great user experience.
  • Interpret UI/UX requirements and mockups into functional, high-performance iOS apps.
  • Research the latest technologies, test, implement, and report back to the team on what you’ve discovered.
  • Push the boundaries of what’s possible with creative solutions to hard, mobile-centric problems like synchronization, asynchronous APIs, and leveraging offline device capabilities.

 

Skills & Requirements

What You Need For This Position

  • 5+ years developing native mobile (ideally iOS) applications.
  • Mastery of Cocoa design patterns and the iOS/Xcode developer toolchain.
  • A firm grasp on Objective-C and comfort designing protocols, implementing delegate interfaces, creating categories, and strong experience with Blocks and managing concurrency.
  • Hands-on experience creating custom UI controls, animations, consuming RESTful APIs, and using SQLite.
  • Experience with Swift and integrating Swift into an existing Objective-C project.
  • Instruments is your long-time BFF.
  • Familiarity with automated testing of iOS Applications through Calabash, XCTest, and OCMock.
  • Experience collaborating with senior backend and senior mobile developers in an agile environment with little supervision.
  • Expertise in design patterns, unit tests and version control systems, especially git.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science OR related technical discipline. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
