Venmo is a small yet mighty team at PayPal and we're excited to bring excellent people on board to help us build exciting new features and concepts for our nearly 90 million customers. With this role, you'll be joining the Venmo App Experiences Team, which is responsible for maintaining and improve consumer experiences on Venmo. 

Your way to impact: 

As a product manager with Venmo you will be part of the Product Team where you will work closely with fellow product managers, designers and engineers to deliver seamless intuitive payment experiences to our users. We spend our days advancing Venmo’s mobile payments platform to exceed our users’ wants and needs. We are data-driven by nature and guided by human-centered design principles. We learn from one another and push each other to be at our creative and analytical bests.

In your day to day you will: 

  • Drive product roadmap for benefits of platform convergence initiatives, including: 
  • Define customer facing changes, both stand-alone and with other PMs 
  • Influence engineering sequencing based on benefits to the customer & business 
  • Partner with Engineering & PMO team to understand timeline and benefits of identity milestones 
  • Represent the customer – ensure changes are meeting Venmo SLAs and maintaining our experience 
  • Serve as bridge between Identity Platform and other product areas 
  • Influence long-term vision for Identity convergence 

What do you need to bring: 

  • 6-7 years experience in a Product role 
  • Experience building a product roadmap and working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable impact 
  • Ability to identify, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of product roadmap features 
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills to senior leaders and project partners; Ability to quickly build consensus and unblock teams 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver core responsibilities against deadlines 
  • Bias toward data-driven decision making 
  • Experience in Payments or Consumer Financial Services is a plus
