In this roke you wil be respnisble for the creation of new electrical architecture concepts for power supply, enabling technologies, and integration of vehicle systems in global Ford vehicles. Architect Software partitioning between modules for functions and Ensure system compatibility between electronic modules for power supply

What you'll do…

  • Creation of new electrical architecture concepts for power supply, enabling technologies, and integration of vehicle systems in global Ford vehicles. Architect Software partitioning between modules for functions and Ensure system compatibility between electronic modules for power supply
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of Ford organizations to realize in-vehicle solutions and their connections to the cloud, infrastructure, and other vehicles
  • Lead the development of advanced system architecture processes (model based – optional), methods, and tools related to vehicle electrical and electronic system applications
  • Lead Establish and grow a simulation and analysis infrastructure to enable quantitative assessment of the key performance indicators of the vehicle electrical architecture

You'll have..

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience with embedded software and systems
  • 3+ years working in Controls and Software Architecture role preferably in Automotive Industry
  • 3+ years prior automotive experience being part of a full product development lifecycle
  • 2+ years experience in CAN/CAN-FD AUTOSAR and Cyber securities
  • 1+ years of experience using CANalyzer and CANoe tool for testing, and CAPL script for field debugging

Even better, you may have…

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering 
  • Familiar with Matlab modeling, code generation, debugging and model testing
  • Familiar with GitHub, CICD pipelines, sonarcube
  • Knowledge of Autosar and/or Adaptive Autosar based system architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on HIL simulators
  • Cursory knowledge of ISO 14229, ISO 26262, and SAE J2602 standards
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office tools: PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Prefer experience in WERS/AVBOM/AIMS/eFDVS/GPDS/Integrator systems
  • Ability to support code review to be able to verify critical module functionality
  • Understanding of Ethernet and CAN multiplex communications
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self-motivated, eager to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience working with multi-functional teams and driving product development issues to resolution
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

This position is a range of salary grades Salary grade 6 - Salary grade 8 .
