About the role

We're looking for an In-House Lead Designer with expertise in design research to join the ambitious team at Reckitt. Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:

  • Design Execution: Lead and execute design projects, ensuring that outputs are visually compelling, align with the brand guidelines, and meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with other designers, offering guidance, feedback, and insights to elevate the team's collective output.
  • Project Ownership: Take ownership of design projects from start to finish, coordinating with cross-functional teams when necessary.
  • Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior designers and interns, fostering an environment of growth, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay Updated: Regularly research and stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, ensuring the brand remains fresh and relevant.
  • Have Stakeholder Interaction: Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders, gathering feedback and iterating designs accordingly.
  • Continue Improvement: Actively seek feedback, iterate designs based on insights, and continuously refine skills.

The experience we're looking for

  • Demonstrable experience in design, with a leadership background in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Track record with global brands, skilled in catering to a diverse array of markets and consumers.
  • A portfolio that speaks volumes of your design expertise, creative flair, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven capacity for leadership, inspiring and fostering the development of a design team.
  • Clear, persuasive communication skills tailored for diverse audiences, complemented by a mastery of presentation.
  • Proficiency with leading-edge design software and familiarity with current industry trends.
