= Objective =

We are in search of a highly experienced and strategic Global Process Owner (GPO) for the Site Logistics process within our dedicated Process Excellence Team. The Global Process Owner for Site Logistics will lead and optimize our end-to-end processes regarding Inventory Management, internal transportation, the interaction with 3rd party warehouses and yard management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain and logistics, coupled with exceptional leadership, communication, and process optimization skills. As the GPO for Site Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in driving global consistency, efficiency, and customer experience in our Site Logistics business process landscape wherever possible and beneficial.

= Key Responsibilities =

  • Process Ownership: Assume full ownership of the Site Logistics process area, encompassing all processes from Gate-In to Gate-Out and all Warehouse processes. Oversee all Site Logistics related activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established policies. Serve as the primary point of contact for Site Logistics process-related inquiries.
  • Global Standardization: Collaborate with global, regional and local teams and stakeholders to establish and enforce global standard operating procedures and best practices for the Site Logistics process area. Ensure consistent business process models and operating practices across various entities and regions.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess the Site Logistics processes to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and automation opportunities. Lead process redesign initiatives to enhance customer experience, reduce cycle times, and minimize errors.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that Site Logistics activities are closely aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and manufacturing, regulatory and market dynamics. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and communicate process strategies, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Risk Management: Implement robust internal controls to mitigate Site Logistics related risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies within the Site Logistics processes, including scenario analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation measures. Proactively address potential disruptions to Logistics operations.
  • Technology Integration: Partner with IT teams to leverage technology solutions, such as warehouse management systems, yard management platforms, and interfaces to external warehouse systems, to streamline and enhance the Site Logistics process area. Drive digital transformation initiatives to meet evolving internal and external business partner expectations.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness and efficiency of the Site Logistics processes. Regularly report progress and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts associated with process improvements and system implementations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Process Excellence Community (PEC) and promote business partner-centric practices.
  • Talent Development: Mentor and guide a team of global process experts within the Process Excellence Community. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skill sets and capabilities.
  • Main interface to GB and GD Process Owner community: Be the main contact person for all the existing process owners of GB and GD to ensure that AP specific process requirements and needs are fulfilled.

= Job Requirements =

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in, Logistics or Supply Chain, with a strong focus on the Site Logistics process and related activities.
  • Experience working in Agriculture is a plus.

  • Process Excellence: Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and optimizing financial processes for global organizations.

  • Global Mindset: Understanding of global logistics and supply chain operations, regulatory environments, and cultural nuances.
  • Customer-Centric: A strong commitment to enhancing the customer and business partner experience throughout the Site Logistics process area.
