We have an opportunity for a Senior Product Offering Management Specialist role to lead our Hearing and Communications product line on our general safety team within the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business. Located in the heart of uptown Charlotte, NC, Honeywell PPE is a global leader in safety, comfort and security. Make a global impact and help us better understand our end-users, launch new innovations in hearing protection and help us leap forward with enhanced communication devices that also serve as PPE to keep wears safer. We have united the most respected offerings in the safety industry to deliver an unparalleled, best-in-class retail line of safety products and systems focused on quality and performance. 

In this role you’ll be at the heart of our business, working closely with field sales, marketing communications, strategic marketing, global R&D, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing. customer care, key business partners and the senior management team to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the business today and in the future.

What you will be doing:

Manage product life cycle, new product road map and overall product strategy to drive revenue, orders and gross profit for the region. You will be daily part of a global team for both product development and go-to-market plans in regions around the world. You will partner with the sales and channel teams to lead pricing and develop plans to target new business opportunities and grow your business line. You will become the clear voice for your segment and define the end-user product requirements and facilitate the tactical SKU system actions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute product strategy and full life cycle including New Product Initiatives and sunsetting of old products with a global development team for global markets
  • Engage with key customers as the product line expert and key advisor
  • Focus on Voice of Customer to drive product development and enhancements
  • Accountable for pricing, profitability and helping to deliver total revenue for the hearing and communications product line
  • Identify business opportunities, and develop opportunity pipelines
  • Support sales processes
  • Handle technical queries.
  • Network within industry
  • Manage import and export processes to ensure product flow

MUST HAVE:

  • 3+ years of experience across product marketing, new product introductions or product management experience with tangible/durable products or electronics
  • Experience in related fields such as industrial sales or product engineering could serve to partially supplement the product management experience.

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual obligations.
