Senior Analyst (SolarWinds Administrator is responsible for support of a large enterprise ICT infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and configuring of the SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Server and other modules listed below. The selected individual will be a subject matter expert and have a solid understanding of design, troubleshooting and configuration. This position supports network operations and ensures system availability by monitoring and controlling system and network resources.
- Install, configure and administer SolarWinds components including:
- NPM – Network Performance Monitor.
- NCM – Network Configuration Manager.
- NTA – NetFlow Traffic Analyzer.
- UDT - User Device Tracker.
- IPAM – IP Address Manager.
- SRM – Storage Resource Monitor.
- APE - Additional Polling Engine.
- VMAN – Virtualization Manager.
- Design and implement a highly available continuous monitoring platform to be utilized by a 24x7 operations desk.
- Experience in setting up Pulling engine in SolarWinds.
- Perform configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting SolarWinds and related network management system tools.
- Plan, execute and implement new system hardware and software and create and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed.
- Deploy monitoring and perform system performance tuning, ongoing operation of the servers, hardening of the servers and reporting of the overall security and operational status.
- The position will also recommend improvements to the enterprise and manage new software/hardware integrations when required while also providing utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed.
