Overview

Support financial planning and analysis to drive company-wide strategic and operational initiatives, this role demands exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, including data-driven decision-making, experience with enterprise systems, and a solid foundation in finance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Revenue Planning and Sales groups to develop the Company’s Budget and long-term Strategic Plan.
  • Work with various operating groups to identify and structure significant tactical improvement opportunities.
  • Cost Benefit analysis of Capital Expenditure projects. Requires ability to model business case scenarios to support optimal decision making.
  • Take charge of monthly profitability reporting and forecasting, requiring a detailed understanding of the company’s cost structure and the ability to model the impact of changes in business conditions.
  • Complete monthly variance analysis and financial close reports.
  • Assist in creating presentations to effectively communicate issues and recommendations to senior management.
  • Rapidly gain an understanding of key financial reporting systems and FP&A models and methodologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the organization and effectively communicate analysis results to various stakeholders.
  • Support quarterly earnings calls and the annual budget process as required.
  • Make certain to meet all personal and departmental deadlines while aiding senior management in meeting company-wide deadlines.
  • Handle special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Accounting, or Business degree preferred (MBA is a plus).
  • 2-5 years of finance and analytical experience, with a preference for experience in the aviation industry.
  • Preferred experience in Anaplan or similar enterprise systems.
  • A high proficiency in excel spreadsheets and financial modeling is necessary; Experience with financial reporting and planning systems, SQL, and database modeling is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in analysis, including comparative ROI, cost-benefit, valuation, basic statistical models, and cost accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties.
  • Highly organized individual with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to complete a variety of projects, prioritizing responsibilities in a dynamic and fluid environment with tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Salary Range: $70,500 - $95,500

Financial offer within the stated range is contingent on the qualification of selected candidates
