St. Turibius School is seeking an energetic and faith- filled teacher with a strong work ethic and commitment to academic excellence. The candidate must be able to effectively support and enrich student learning through various instructional methods and have strong classroom management skills. The candidate will collaborate with colleagues in a professional learning community and work with parents to support each student’s academic success.The candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing engaging lessons, differentiate student work through station rotation model, analyze and assess data in order to better support students and set standards. The candidate will also be responsible for planning lesson using coding and robotics for students to engage with once a week. The candidate will also maintain a safe environment, and establish rapport with students, parents and colleagues.

Requirements

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

Progress towards a CA teaching credential preferred, not required.

Teaching experience and background in working with students preferred

Knowledge and familiarity with NGSS and CCSS (Math) preferred.

Knowledge and familiarity with project-based learning (PBL) preferred.

Wage Range

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
