Job Summary:

The role of Associate Sales Manager (ASM) will work with key strategic distributors and directly with end users to identify Rubbermaid Commercial solutions, within the Japan market. The ASM will develop and manage a new business pipeline to deliver on the financial ambitions for the region.

Job Duties:

  • Work with key strategic distributors to identify Rubbermaid solutions through their customer base
  • Work in collaboration with the Brand/Customer & Product Marketing Teams with the execution of all new product launches and promotional activity
  • Develop & manage a new business pipeline through a CRM - Salesforce
  • Appropriate distributor growth account plans and execute strategies
  • Product demonstrations and sales presentations
  • Train & support distribution sales teams on RCP solutions as and when required
  • Support S&OP in daily operation and provide more accurate sales monthly forecast
  • Work with Key Distributors to access BSC’s & FM’s and develop relationships
  • Work with key end users such as Building Service Contractors (BSC) & Facility Managers (FM) to drive an RCP solution over competitor set
  • Train & support existing end users on RCP solutions as and when required
  • Identify end user solutions that can be complemented through our product portfolio
  • Primary focus on targeting end users within the Heathcare/Aged Care sectors with a secondary focus on Hospitality & Foodservice/QSRs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of management experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in multinational companies in B2B
  • Good negotiation skills, Strategic thinker, Well versed in both written and spoken English
  • Heavily involved in sales management, marketing and promotion activities
  • Good presentation and communication skills

  • Business development skills
  • Heavily involved in sales management, marketing and promotion activities
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Experiences in Healthcare, Commercial Cleaning, Food Service, Hospitality or Industrial MRO will be very highly preferred.
