Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Experience in gathering user requirements and converting them into a winning product vision.
  • Experience driving engineering product requirements with an understanding of the technical details.
  • Experience in communicating and discussing agreements, with the ability to spread a vision for your product and bring other PMs, designers, and engineers on board.
  • Experience shipping consumer electronics products, with a focus on quality and performance with silicon or connectivity.
  • Understanding of end user experience with demonstrated success in inventing innovative and user-friendly products.

About the Job

The Pixel Watch Software team works cross-functionaly to define, develop, and launch the software experiences which will make the Pixel watch the best devices in the marketplace. We do this by having a deep understanding of our users, bringing the best of Google WearOS and Pixel Watch specific software experiences, leveraging unique and differentiated hardware platforms and enablers.

As a Senior Product Manager for the Pixel Watch, you will be responsible for leading the teams in the definition, development, and execution against our Foundational and Performance related initiatives. This will include key areas of the Pixel Watch experience including silicon/component selection, system performance, battery life improvements, and connectivity related experiences. In this role, you will develop and execute the product vision and roadmap for your areas, as well as collaborate across a variety of internal teams.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $164,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee definition of product roadmaps for feature areas.
  • Own development and secure buy-in for a product vision that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction.
  • Own feature PRDs developed in collaboration with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during the product design phases.
  • Lead the team through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or performance metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing features and experiences.
  • Lead the team through development and launch of features that bring unique and differentiated features to the marketplace at high quality.
