This is an external staff position for 2 years' contract. Your employer will be a third-party supplier, in service for Roche.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the plan, and calculation of minimum inventories, and performs the purchases of the necessary inventories to keep the minimum stock levels;
  • Responsible for the claim handling within suppliers.
  • Supervise and coordinates stocks levels and inventory counts and its policy.
  • Manages the reconciliation of inventory levels and inventories in transit, as per internal controls framework (ICFR).
  • Works in close collaboration with 3PL for the quality and any further negotiations needed.
  • Actively communicates with Commercial areas to align on product life cycle management/recalls, and planning for phase-in and phase-out.
  • Works as a back-up for the Customer Support team whenever needed.
  • Create value for the business in supporting internal areas while efficiently managing costs and ensuring Customer Satisfaction.
  • Champion for business Supply Chain and Procurement Procedures, and ensures compliance with legal, business, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide tools and services that support our customers with up-to-date solutions to facilitate their daily business.
  • Support and drive global and local projects with special focus on MM/IM topics.
  • Creates and maintains the material master database, and the SAP environment to guarantee proper inventory management.
  • Works with focus on the customer, performing visits, supporting projects and interaction between Roche and its customers.
  • Accountable for Inventory planning and coordination of inventory deployment.

Who you are

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related.
  • Relevant experience required (1-2 years) in Supply and logistics management, ideally medical devices or pharmaceutical industry or other industries where it is required to align customer requirements with sales, marketing and finance. 
  • Romanian and English language are required.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP MM SD/ APO / BW) 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal English) and interpersonal skills
  • Able to adapt and respond to internal (e.g. priorities) and external changes
