Job Description

Summary:

Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and, at higher levels, controls capital.

Main activities and responsibilities:

1. Assign employees to production stations according to the Head Count, monitor production levels at different points in the process (Plan by Hour or CLOS ERP System) and align the production schedule to meet demands.

2. Selects production employees, assigns work according to production, coordinates movement between lines and evaluates performance keeping QA training compliance as per procedure stablished.

3. Support all strategic initiative of Capacity Increase, Business continuity and/or any safety inminent risk project.

4. Oversee manufacturing processes by managing staff on the production floor, supports areas and coordinating resources also issues recommendations on production organization and makes adjustments to fulfill the demand at the efficienciest way.

5. Keep control of production activities, overseeing the supply of raw materials, components and other products for production to ensure on-time delivery to the customer.

6. Check and evaluate equipment availability at each station in the production process to maintain optimum efficiency and ensure compliance with all safety policies on the production floor.

7. Manage resources in a daily basis, controlling and registrating in ERP platform available recording appropriate Absence as stablished, taking inmediate actions as dictates coduct code and/or Discipline playbook.

8. Evaluates achievement of production plan to objectives based on available resources, defining and implementing actions to correct production performance issues, when applicable. (using problem solvings tools).

9. Coordinates communication between HPT roles and second Shift members to assure support is provided to address issues preventing manufacturing lines to met their production schedules daily.

10. Supervise and maintain compliance with the efficiency objective of the area/plant with timely results in the productivity flow.

11. Develop and actively participate in the initiatives of the (A3/PDCA/5 Why's) projects, perform root cause analysis and implement compliance actions.

12. Support Lean activities within the production lines and the implementation of work methodologies that promote the continuous improvement of processes.

13. Monitors Production Department compliance with Rockwell Operation System System (ROS) requirements.

14. Monitors adecuate use of FTPC as the Manufacturing Platform for the Production Lines and provides first troubleshooting aid when applicable.

15. Coordinate the weekend work required for their areas and complete the overtime hours of their direct employees in the system of workday.

16. Participate in studies and analysis of new procedures and work methods to make production more efficient. (Process Improvement).

17. Perform productivity projects oriented to reduce cost (eliminating waste at productions lines).

18. Improve the crosstraining of criticals employees (machine set up operators, Touch up, Troubler shooters, etc.)

19. Monitors adecuate use of CLOS as the Manufacturing Platform for the Production Lines applicables.

20. Correct use of Workday platform for all employess aplications (pay, time off, promote, Time block audit, others)

21. Assist in the development of best practices in a continuous improvement mindset that drives quality and performance in production, product and people.

22. Providing leadership and mentoring to the direct reports and production teams within the department, achieving sustainable KPI improvements.

23. Follow Up Rockwell Automation role model guidance.

24. Comply with RA's Ethics, Environment, Safety, Occupational Health and Quality standards, as well as support the values, strategies and priorities of our Company to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Electronic Engineering, Business Administration or similar.

2. Experience: 2 years of related experience in similar role.

3.Two years of previous experience as people manager is required.

4. Intermediate level of English.

5. Manage PC (Microsoft Office).
