The Director Global Total Rewards manages & supports the development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s global compensation & recognition frameworks to ensure competitiveness and equity across NTT Global Data Centers. This includes work on the global design and implementation of global compensation analysis, performance frameworks and recognition & reward programs that encourage attraction & retention and reward high performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTITES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for design and implementation of global compensation philosophy and analysis for the global workforce, including global leadership
  • Implement process for ongoing review of compensation globally and oversee implementation with regional leads
  • Participates in organizational and job design initiatives to establish equitable compensation within the global organization.
  • Work with the VP, HR Business Partnerships to implement an effective and robust Total Rewards strategy, ensuring governance and compliance within the Global Data Center business.
  • Keep abreast of changing market trends, including leading and executing market benchmarking efforts as needed to ensure our Total Rewards framework and salary structure is competitive, Ensure a balance between cost containment and talent retention & attraction.
  • Develop recognition programs in line with NTT Global Data Center’s Total Rewards philosophy, strategic objects and goals, budget and expectations to effectively promote the organization’s talent retention and attraction initiative.
  • Support VP HR Business Partner and regional HR leads in regulatory compliance and execution of the organization’s Total Rewards strategy and initiatives.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative data insights for statistical analysis to support strategic decision making.
  • Provide consultative support to regional Compensation partners on Total Rewards matters including compensation framework, rewards programs and addressing specific compensation challenges within the regions.
  • Lead and execute the end-to-end annual performance management process, including Goal Setting, mid-year Check Ins, Personal Development Plans, year-end Performance Reviews as well as management of poor performers in partnership with regional compensation partners and HR Business Partners. Ensure effective design, communication and training regarding the end-to-end annual performance management process.
  • Manage and provide guidelines to regional compensation partners on the Annual Salary Review cycle and Annual Bonus calculations.
  • Work with the VP HR Business Partner to mplement global Total Reward programs and projects, including comprehensive project management plans for effective design, communication and training to ensure global Human Resources and management teams are informed of program details

  • Ability to effectively translate technical concepts for a lay audience and to proactively inform, influence and educate executives, cross-functional stakeholders and team members.

  • Ability to create project plans, ensuring established deadlines and milestones are met and communicated to leadership and the broader HR team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years of experience focused on Compensation, with at least 3 years as a people manager, or managing project teams in a high-volume global environment. 
  • Experience must include implementation, support and maintenance of global compensation programs and business processes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
  • Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
  • Close visual work on a computer terminal.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Work across multiple global time zones (including but not limited to India, Europe, South Africa, US, Japan) is required for this position which will require work outside of normal work hours
  • Extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.
  • This role is expected to be remote with an occasional need to be on-site in a shared space, and with the possibility of global travel several times a year.
  • Must satisfactorily pass company-required background check process.

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $ 205,000 – $ 235,000.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
