Job Description

As a Manager at Kearney, you will be a key contributor to the growth and development of our Digital and Analytics (D&A) practice as we offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients.

Working alongside a dedicated and diverse set of people, you will work alongside our D&A clients to define and implement strategies that will deliver both short-term results and longer-term competitiveness in this ever-changing market environment. 

Through unique hands-on experiences, you will broaden your knowledge across a breadth of topics while developing relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients across industries to drive operations transformation programs, leveraging supply chain design platforms and/or other optimization tools.
  • Consult on and manage the day-to-day direction of client projects, ensuring work is continually on track, delivering clear benefit to the client in both the short and long term, and adhering to budgets and schedules while maintaining high utilization.
  • Demonstrate subject-matter expertise in Advanced Analytics/Optimization across the supply chain.
  • Contribute to the development of marketable points of view on business challenges, including the creation of intellectual capital. 
  • Support strategic and tactical initiatives to identify, develop, and extend client relationships.
  • Mentor and apprentice junior colleagues, helping them hone and develop their professional skills and experience.
  • Participate in firm-building opportunities, e.g. recruiting, training, and mentoring.

We want to hear from you if you are:

  • Analytically inclined and enjoy solving problems
  • Able to prioritize and are a doer by nature
  • Comfortable leading teams and mentoring colleagues
  • Experienced as a manager (or equivalent) in the consulting industry
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in at least one scripting language
  • Experienced with:
  • Supply chain design platforms (ex. Coupa SC Guru, AIMMS SC Navigator) and/or other optimization tools (ex. Gurobi)
  • Simulation tools (ex. Anylogic, ARENA, PlantSimulation)
  • Statistical tools (ex. SPSS, MATLAB, SAS, JMP, R) as well as with the underlying stochastic and statistical methods
  • Self-service data & analytics platforms (ex. Alteryx, KNIME)
  • Visualization platforms (ex. Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Managing large sets of data with databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, NoSQL or DB2
  • Interfacing with large enterprise systems (ex. Oracle, SAP, JDA) in the usage of functional SW and/or base data
  • Operations research
