What You Can Expect

As a Legal & Title Analyst I, you will join the title group within our legal team supporting solar and wind development efforts, including ordering title, performing data entry, populating exhibits, and facilitating title related purchase orders.

Your primary responsibilities are to perform tasks and assignments related to the process of insuring our wind and solar projects through real estate title insurance policies, including but not limited to the following:

  • Order and track title for greenfield and early-stage developments, including the management of the title company, and reporting on timing of deliverables
  • Data entry of title commitments, pro forma title policies, and surveyor’s notes issued for our various projects to memorialize title exception items, title requirements, and survey issues
  • Enter and monitor purchase order requests for title related contractors and tasks such as surface title orders and mineral orders
  • General document control and filing to assist the land legal team
  • Assist admin staff with or facilitate title curative mailings
  • Populate various title curative related agreements or other documents for execution by landowners and third parties, or working with other legal team members to do the same

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of associate degree in which you completed courses in related field 
  • Understanding of real estate or title insurance with an emphasis on commercial title insurance transactions
  • Detail-oriented cohesive team player with an optimistic attitude, and a self-starter with the ability to relate to diverse groups of people
  • Highly organized and proficient at drafting and maintaining documents and tracking spreadsheets for multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and data processing skills
  • Capability of managing multiple tasks or assignments simultaneously and efficiently without direct supervision

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing 
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 

Compensation

Salary Range: $53,900 – $83,375 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
