PROCEPT BioRobotics is a surgical robotics company enabling better patient care by developing transformative solutions in urology. With an initial focus on BPH, the company’s AquaBeam® Robotic System delivering Aquablation therapy, is the first FDA-cleared, automated surgical robot for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Aquablation therapy combines real-time, multi-dimensional imaging, automated robotics and heat-free waterjet ablation for targeted, controlled, and immediate removal of prostate tissue. Aquablation therapy offers predictable and reproducible outcomes, independent of prostate anatomy, prostate size or surgeon experience.

SUMMARY

We are looking for an enthusiastic, versatile, and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This hire will report to Sr. Manager of FP&A. This is a key position to support and manage OpEx in a fast growing medical device company.

The Senior Financial Analyst responsibilities include assisting with forecasting, reporting, and budgeting processes for operating expense. The Analyst will prepare monthly reports, perform variance analysis, and help manage the forecasting tool. In the role of Senior Financial Analyst, you must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast growing environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning & Forecasting: support development of planning, budgeting, and forecasting process and tracking of expenses for key functional groups (G&A, R&D, and Marketing)
  • Perform variance analysis: bridging forecast/actuals compared to forecast and plan
  • Monthly financial close and reporting: work cross-functionally on monthly accruals, headcount reporting, and tracking. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for departmental leaders. 
  • Support Financial Planning Tool: Manage the accuracy of the Actual data in the Planning tool and loading the Forecast and Budget into Adaptive Planning. Provide monthly forecasting process, validating financial assumptions and data accuracy in the Adaptive Planning
  • Prepare financial models: Provide ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively: Must be comfortable supporting VP budget owners, with ability to articulate detailed information into executive level summaries

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)

  • 4-6 years of relevant or progressive experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis 
  • Expert user of Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline
  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong technical skills and experience with aptitude of learning new software and systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skills in excel (financial modeling), and other tools including GL (e.g. SAP, Oracle, QAD) and reporting/planning tools (e.g. Tableau, Hyperion, Adaptive).

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $109,000-$150,000 a year.

PROCEPT BioRobotics is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we aim to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. While our ranges are posted, the exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the successful candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, location or comparison to other employees already in similar roles. In addition to base salary, our positions are eligible for variable compensation through one of our incentive plans as well as equity compensation based on role and level. PROCEPT also offers a comprehensive suite of benefits including, but not limited to, health insurance plans, ESPP, 401k retirement savings plan with a company match, and paid time off programs. All compensation and benefits programs are subject to the discretion of the company.
