Job Summary

  • Provide the full range of HR services and functionality to the business and work closely with the Country Management Teams to ensure that resources and processes are aligned to deliver business goals. 
  • Implement the global HR strategy and adapt global policies and instruments to local requirements if needed. 
  • Ensure that DKSH HR systems, policies and processes are delivered and monitored, in line with DKSH strategy and local legislation

General Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage local HR operating targets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources 
  • Provide strategic business partnering advice/direction to local management teams on full range of HR services to align with business goals 
  • Drive implementation/alignment of global and country HR initiatives/policies to enhance organizational effectiveness 
  • Lead acquisition/development of talent via effective resourcing strategies to attract, engage and retain key/critical talents 
  • Drive/monitor talent management for critical leadership positions and develop talent readiness/transition strategies 
  • Develop/review workforce planning strategies (e.g. forecasting, short-/medium-term manpower requirements, etc.) to meet business demand 
  • Develop/review change management initiatives with business leaders to address human capital matters 
  • Develop employee communication that is directed at the targeted audience 
  • Review periodical data/reports to provide validated HR metrics/benchmarks for business decision making with Group HR and local management teams 
  • Work closely with the Country Management Team in shaping a new and desired culture that is aligned to DKSH culture. This includes developing, reviewing, planning and implementing initiatives and programs that promote collaboration, teamwork, entrepreneurship and sustainability; and providing constructive HR feedback and proposals to CMT 
  • Collaborate with Group HR in developing and operating strategic/tactical compensation programs and benefits structures including payroll management and salary benchmarking in cooperation with the global Compensation & Benefits team 
  • Plan/review HR due diligence and restructuring activities associated with mergers and acquisitions 
  • Develop employee/industrial relations programs and ensure compliance with local legislative requirements 
  • Resolve conflict management situations for both informal and formal grievances through either direct mediation or coaching managers on a plan of action 
  • Implement the global HR strategy and strategic HR tools, policies, systems and processes and ensure consistent delivery to enhance the competitive edge of the country organization over competitors by attracting and building talent
  • Build, lead and manage a high performing outstanding HR team that can provide high quality service to the internal client base 
  • Drive learning and development of the team in the area of Human Resources and DKSH behavior to achieve team/function goals 
  • Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Human Resources and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning 
  • Build HR talent pool for bench strength and succession planning

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrate a track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and plans to achieve business goals and objectives with clear and tangible HR metrics 
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze business challenges and provide HR recommendations to business leaders 
  • Strong business acumen, commercially savvy with knowledge of financials (e.g. P&L, EBIT), understand how business runs and provide solutions/suggestions to business 
  • Experience in organizational development particularly with scenarios arising from business expansion, M&As and organizational restructuring 
  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Demonstrate ability to apply high level conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex workforce issues and propose innovative solutions that achieve results 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities 
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders’ expectations and deliverables both within HR and across BU management 
  • Able to operate at strategic and operational level – not afraid to pitch in, get into details and guide team members 
  • Sound conflict resolution skills 
  • Experience in HR digitalization is ideal

Education

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or similar related discipline is preferred 
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
