We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with an immediate opportunity for a Jr. Designer to join our growing Creative team!

Day-to-day activities:

• Meet client needs by creating assets alongside a team of fellow creatives
• Ensure that clients’ messaging and deliverables are conveyed in a brand-appropriate manner, crafting compelling creative solutions
• Be hands-on creating design explorations and treatments 
• Follow and use design systems and guidelines
• Brainstorm and collaborate on conceptual creative solutions for big and small campaigns
• Be detail oriented
• Produce requests for appropriate account leads, meeting strict deadlines, and prioritizing requests
• Able to articulate design choices to fellow designers, account team members, and art directors
• Stay current on graphic design trends, social media visual guidelines and specs, digital design, etc.
• Participate in the growth of the team
• Consistently advance your own talent and growth at M Booth 

What You’ll Bring:

We are looking for a junior designer to join our growing team. This person will collaborate with designers, illustrators, and art directors to craft the design vision for various types of projects. They are passionate in various design spaces and styles, from graphic design, to illustration, to typography, to photo retouching and compositing, to design systems and principles. Along with working in those spaces, they’re also familiar with the process of translating designs and content for different digital platforms. They are highly motivated and are looking to grow alongside us. The candidate will be part of a creative team of 15+ and will report to an art director.

• 1-3 years of experience
• A portfolio showcasing different areas of graphic design and illustration
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 
• Familiarity with Figma. Video editing, Motion design is a plus!
• Familiarity with Google Apps Suite 
• Ability to adapt visual language for multiple clients
• Ability to articulate design choices to team members
• Understanding and experience in the creative process: from kick-off to completion
• Appetite for collaboration
• Passion for art trends, social media trends and best practices, and all things design
• Enthusiasm for A.I. and all its possibilities

Our Flexible Work Policy: 

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event. 

For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
