What you will do:

• Develop and execute innovative Mediterranean-inspired menus, showcasing the vibrant flavors and diverse ingredients of the region.
• Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations during service.
• Maintain a high level of food quality and consistency through active participation in the preparation and presentation of dishes.
• Manage inventory, including ordering ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for revenue growth and cost control.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
• Ensure that all kitchen operations adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

What you will bring: 

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role, with a proven track record in Mediterranean cuisine.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Current experience of Chef de Cuisine for minimum 2 years.
• Restaurant pre-opening experience will be an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Mediterranean culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles (South of France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Moroccan and any additional is a plus).
• Creative and innovative approach to menu development, showcasing a passion for Mediterranean cuisine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Culinary degree or certification preferred
