The successful candidate will:
Manage and Lead implementation projects. Banking and financial products knowledge is required. Clients are mainly located in Asia Pacific. Extensive Travel is required.
Be responsible for the Loan Origination projects in the AP region.
Manage and work with any third-party partners and vendors in the delivery of the solution.
Manage stakeholders’ expectations including senior management of the client and project escalations.
Be able to present well.
Contribute to pre-sales activities such as product demonstration, RFI, RFP, and POC as well as address business issues raised during meetings.
Degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting/Banking/IT
The candidate must have proven experience in at least 3 full implementations of Banking projects in the AP region.
10+ years of program/project management experience in an IT company delivering financial software or within a bank.
Thorough knowledge of banking products and financial instruments
Experience in delivering consultancy, training and presentations to external parties
Experience with financial software, financial data warehousing and relational database conceptual knowledge.
IT background, understand bank’s source systems
Fluency in English and other Asian Language (Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Tagalog)
Program/Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, etc)
Possess excellent working attitude and demonstrate willingness to put in extra effort to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Self-confident, responsible, methodical and organised
Persuasive, excellent in customer facing
Full availability to travel within the Asia Pacific region
