The Position

As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will analyze business reporting requirements using data from internal and external sources and provide insights to decision-makers. You will demonstrate a high level of responsibility and collaboration with relevant stakeholders to understand the needs and deliver the requirement, timely and with high accuracy and reliability. You will identify data sources and interpret trends and patterns in datasets, will construct creative data / trends visualization based on business data and market knowledge and you will create specifications for reports and analysis based on data elements required or available; you could also directly produce data sets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools as required.

You Opportunities

  • You will design and develop data, analytics and reporting framework to continuously drive intelligent business insights, work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to collect and understand business needs and priorities.
  • You will identify data sources, analyze business data and generate reports and data visualizations, build, maintain and enhance business applications, reporting, and analysis solutions with a focus on maintaining the integrity of the application, data, and system.
  • You will provide regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis that involve large scale and complex functions as required.
  • You will utilize Roche standard development tools while building expertise in Tableau, SQL, other BI tools, etc. and collaborate with stakeholders to identify upgrades and development of new functionality with current business applications.
  • You will perform data validation and other strategies that optimize efficiency, data quality and accuracy stay current with and adopt emergent relevant methodologies, tools and applications to ensure fit-for-purpose and impactful approaches. 
  • Assist the Business Intelligence & Insights Manager and I.T. in developing standards and best practices for report and application design, guidelines and data integrity and work to build and maintain a data hub to ensure transparency and up to date reporting.
  • You will build strong collaborative relationships with peers that includes timely feedback and communication to gain alignment and assist other relevant employees by providing technical advice and guidance. You will work with greater discretion and latitude. 

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a business, scientific or related field such as finance, marketing, MIS, IT, engineering, etc. from a reputable university (local/overseas)
  • You have proven minimum 5 years in analytics and consulting setting in MNCs, Healthcare industry preferred
  • You have excellent customer service orientation, communication, change management, consulting and interpersonal skills
  • You must be proficient in SAP, SQL and BI reporting tools (i.e. Tableau) and other analytics platform
  • You have fluent communication in English and Vietnamese
