JDC has an exciting new position for an experienced development professional with expertise in partnerships and prospecting for grants. The Manager of Grants and Institutional Giving serves as a front-line fundraiser on behalf of JDC and creates an additional strategic channel to enhance our fundraising efforts across the department. This role is expected to pioneer new partnerships with foundations and corporate donors to raise funds in support of JDC's mission. The ideal candidate for this role will focus on identifying prospects, submitting grant applications for priority programs, and cultivating relationships with new foundation and corporate donors nationally and globally. This role is a strategic partner, passionate supporter of JDC’s global mission and is dedicated to cultivating and managing a donor base through strong communication and relationship-building.
JDC's Global Resource Development department is driven by JDC's historic mission, as we cultivate and grow relationships with philanthropists worldwide to secure resources for the leading global Jewish humanitarian organization. Our department comprises a highly motivated and dynamic team that is committed to excellence in all we do. JDC’s Global Resource Development Department is responsible for $150 – $250 million annually in total philanthropic funding from individuals, foundations, corporations, Jewish Federations, and others, for restricted and unrestricted purposes, including emergencies and annual giving.

What are the compensation and benefits for a Manager of Grants and Institutional Giving?
This is a full-time position paid semi-monthly at a salary of $100,000-$125,000 per year; in determining where a candidate falls in that range JDC considers several factors, including skills and experience, internal equity, and cost of living in location of work. This role is exempt per the FLSA.
