Leveraging your extensive technical expertise and deep understanding of integration technologies, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization's integration strategy and driving innovation within the integration landscape. A Day in the Life

  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your in-depth expertise in webMethods suite including Integration Server, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Broker Server, MWS, BAM/BPM, API Gateway, Enterprise Gateway, MFT (Active Transfer Server), webMethods.io, Informatica, ETL tools, Kafka to implement robust and scalable integrations. 
  • Solution Implementation: Implementation of integration solutions, ensuring they meet technical specifications, quality standards, and adhere to best practices. Provide hands-on technical expertise as needed. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, exploring new tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance integration processes, efficiency, and performance. 
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of integration solutions. Collaborate with support teams to provide timely resolutions. 
  • Solution Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of complex integration solutions, including the development of APIs, connectors, middleware configurations, and data transformation processes. Ensure solutions adhere to best practices and architectural standards. 
  • Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team. Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. 
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. Identify and address potential bottlenecks and recommend appropriate solutions. 
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and integration patterns. 
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, integration trends, and industry developments. Explore and recommend innovative solutions to improve integration processes, efficiency, and overall system performance.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT integration with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, or a related field. or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree. 
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
  • Ability to lead the development, deployment, and technical quality of large enterprise or global solutions that span multiple technologies and disciplines. 
  • Participate in integration design activities working with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and peer Team Members. 
  • Proven expertise in integration technologies, middleware platforms, integration design patterns, messaging frameworks, and API management, ETL tools, data transformation techniques and ESB frameworks. 
  • Ability to understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and to design a solution that completely and correctly addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity without unnecessary enhancements. 
  • Experience working with Real Time & Near Real Time integrations, including Message Oriented based message handling techniques and with Cloud technology AWS. 
  • Design and handle integrations using XML, IDOC, BAPI, EDI, Flatfiles, Java, webservices, API management, Integration cloud, Hybrid-Integration, Cloud streams and experience /Knowledge in designing CI/CD solutions. 
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise database technologies like Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL Server. 
  • Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, AS4, PGP/GPG, S/MIME, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP/SCP/POP3/SMTP, Web Services/SOAP/REST, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Previous Medtronic experience 
  • Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 
  • Experience in change management, as it relates to a culture and mindset of a complex organization including capabilities building, process design, ownership, and implementation
