Your impact

As a Technology Assurance Manager within our Risk, Controls & Compliance team, you understand that data and technology are the true engines of today’s organisations. You will analyse and evaluate internal controls in IT processes and systems, and use your technical IT skills in order to:

  • help clients assess and improve their (IT) internal control environment;
  • support our Financial Assurance practice on complex audits through IT General Controls audit work and data analysis;
  • lead more complex and in-depth technology audits focusing both on working processes and technical system settings; 
  • assist our clients' internal audit teams with their internal control reviews; and
  • Advise our clients on cyber security frameworks (CIS CSC top 18, NIST, CMMC, ISO27001/2), the Network & Information Systems (NIS) regulation, the SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP), etc

As a Technology Assurance Manager you will:

  • lead and coach engagement teams;
  • guide clients to improve their IT governance and controls throughout the relevant processes and systems landscape;
  • help manage client relationships and contribute to business development; and
  • play a key role in further developing our service offerings related to information & cyber security assurance.

About you

You are the perfect match for this position if you are motivated to take on a new challenge and you have:

  • a Master’s degree in (applied) economics, business engineering or computer sciences, possibly via a second master’s degree;
  • minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in IT audit or consulting;
  • a strong background in systems and/or network administration, IT development, or information or cyber security, and a thorough understanding of internal control principles;
  • certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) are considered an asset;
  • knowledge of and experience in working with standards like ISO 27001/2, NIST and SWIFT CSP are considered a strong plus;
  • a proven experience of being a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, showing proactive leadership and coaching. You have a critical, analytical mind, and are client-oriented;
  • experience in managing projects.
