The role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lifecycle Operations Specialist-Contractor to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing assets, segmenting audiences, and ensuring the quality of campaigns across multiple marketing communication channels, including email, SMS, mobile push, and in-app messaging. The ideal candidate has a strong focus on campaign execution, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent time management skills. You should also have the ability to understand business needs and objectives to consistently deliver high-quality work on time. Additionally, you will provide stakeholders with campaign performance reports and data-driven recommendations for future campaign optimization.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and send six newsletters per week to SoFi's subscriber base.
  • Execute data-driven marketing initiatives using a campaign management tool, under the guidance of a Lifecycle Marketing Manager. This includes activities such as audience selection, trigger qualification, suppressions, and segmentation.
  • Own the coding/building, approval process, and deployment of lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure timely delivery of lifecycle campaigns across various marketing channels, such as Email, Push, In-App Messaging, and SMS.
  • Implement quality control activities to ensure accurate and complete campaign deployment on a daily basis.
  • Generate campaign performance reports using analytical models to share test outcomes, highlight campaign impact, and provide insights for future testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with others on the Lifecycle Marketing team and the Content team to understand campaign objectives, data specifications, technical requirements, and provide tactical feedback.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing, with proficiency in leveraging raw HTML templates.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience using Braze.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to best practices and QA procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Finance, FinTech, or other heavily regulated industries.
  • Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing standards.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, real-time event data, data structures, and querying language (e.g., select, merge, join, group by, etc.).
  • Experience working with real-time web and app event data.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
