HR Business Partner & Country HR Lead

This role Partners with managers to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes, ensuring effective and sustainable workplace relations, and by providing HR support for a defined team or location. Accountable for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the Functions and Shared Services. Accountable for the leadership and collaboration of the HR community across a Country and ensuring Country fiduciary people requirements are duly met & complied with. Drives effective communication, engagement, and collaboration across the organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Understands and contributes to the overall Business and People Strategy
  • Determines and delivers the best approach in area of responsibility
  • Executes the HR priorities while adding value to the business
  • Provides leadership and guidance to ensure that the area of responsibility
  • is appropriately organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
  • Coaches, motivates, and develops talent to build an effective, capable, and high performing team
  • Represents HR in the business, establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees
  • Acts as partner and coach
  • Accountable for total HR offering to business leveraging Functional Expertise
  • Supports the business and the execution of HR Processes including Culture/Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, People Reviews, Succession Planning, Capability & Workforce Planning, Career Pathing, Leadership and Functional Competency Assessments / Development, Organization Design (including HCM), Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, Values in Action, Learning & Development, People Performance, Executive Compensation, Employee Compensation, Benefits, Global Mobility, Mergers & Acquisitions, Labor Relations, People Analytics, Onboarding, and Policy/Procedure Administration
  • Involvement in Employee Life Cycle
  • Facilitates and ensures success of change management initiatives across area of responsibility
  • Drives behavioral change and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures all employees understand ABB Safety and Integrity standards and act accordingly
  • Ensures compliance with legislation, HR policies and other compliance standards in all areas of responsibility.
  • Acts as personal role model of the expected behavior
  • Ensures all HR-related fiduciary responsibilities are met in Country, including reporting, legal structure, internal and external auditing, etc
  • Identifies and mitigates internal risk by assuring full compliance with all
  • applicable ABB and legal regulations, including HSE and integrity
  • Shares Country best practices across businesses

Your background

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as HR Business Partner
  • Knowledge of English and Kazakh languages
  • Knowledge of SAP
