Position Overview

The opportunity is for an open position in the Digital, Data & Enablement (DDE) Team within the Client and Product Solutions (CPS) organization at Apollo. This role presents a chance to be a part of an entrepreneurial and nimble team within an established firm that is on a multi-year journey to unlock the full potential of distribution enablement tools to strengthen and grow the business. In this role, the Analyst will work closely with the Sales Enablement technical team and CPS Sales Enablement Product Owners, to support Salesforce initiatives where appropriate and act as the subject matter expert in all things relating to Salesforce. In addition, the individual will be advising on Salesforce administration best practices and create operational documentation to further mature our Distribution Platform.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Salesforce Configuration and Customization:
  • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet the specific needs of the business, including fields, page layouts, and workflows.
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement team members to understand requirements and action them in Salesforce.
  • Data Management and Integration:
  • Oversee data management activities, including data imports, data cleansing, and data deduplication, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Distribution Intelligence teams to implement data integrations between Salesforce and other relevant systems.
  • User Support and Training:
  • Provide first-level user support, address user inquiries, and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce usage.
  • Conduct training sessions and support in the creation of user documentation to empower users with Salesforce best practices and functionalities.
  • Salesforce Security and Compliance:
  • Administer user access and permissions to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Salesforce Reporting and Dashboards:
  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide insights to Sales Enablement team and aid in decision-making processes.
  • Analyze data trends and patterns to help improve the Salesforce experience for users.
  • Salesforce Maintenance and Upgrades:
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as reviewing system updates and conducting system testing to ensure optimal performance.

Assist in evaluating and implementing new Salesforce features and functionalities.

Qualifications & Experience

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in the financial services industry, preferably in Asset Management.
  • Salesforce Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and data management best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining Salesforce workflows, process automation, and security settings.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required
  • Salesforce Developer certification preferred
  • Data Management Skills:
  • Familiarity with data management principles, data governance, and data quality management.
  • Experience with data classification and data lifecycle concepts.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Salesforce administration tools and features.
  • Experience in data integration between Salesforce and other systems is a plus.
  • Analytical Thinking:
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and action them into Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in generating meaningful reports and dashboards.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving Salesforce-related issues.
  • Ability to propose and implement process improvements.
  • Adaptability:
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and keep up-to-date with Salesforce advancements and industry trends.
  • Financial Services Knowledge:

Understanding of asset management processes, products, and investment management concepts is a plus

Pay Range

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
