Labeling Project Coordinator II, Labeling Operations

Job Responsibilities

  • Liaises with Packaging and Labeling team members to ensure that artwork and supplier proofs are accurately created and distributed.
  • Serves as a labeling and artwork resource for Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Graphic Design, Package Engineering, and Quality Assurance.
  • Responsible for reviewing and proofreading commercial labeling intended for domestic and international markets.
  • Performs Labeling Coordination tasks using Gilead’s electronic workflow system.
  • Supports complex labeling processes and collaborates with other team members and groups to ensure product labeling timelines are met.
  • Manages the execution and tracking of artwork projects including the facilitation of information cross-functionally and to management.
  • Represents Labeling Coordinator team and prepares information as needed for cross-functional and cross-company team meetings and special projects.
  • Executes additional project assignments as required to support the functions of the Labeling Operations group.
  • Contributes to the progression and completion of operational excellence projects that are original in nature and may not have a set precedent in place.
  • Ensures Standard Operating Procedures and brand design guidelines are followed and maintains compliance with ongoing training requirements.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrates accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat Pro; experience using electronic proofreading tools is a plus.
  • Shows a willingness to understand business objectives and company culture.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills when interacting with both internal and external customers.
  • Displays solid organizational skills, with the flexibility to quickly realign priorities to meet changing business needs.

Education & Experience:

  • BS/BA and 4+ Years experience OR MS and 2+ years experience OR , AA and 6+ years of experience OR High School/GED and 8+ years in a technical, customer-focused, regulated, or high-volume production environment.
  • Experience with databases, CRM technologies, controlled documentation best practices, and project management.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device industry.
  • Experience in a GMP environment, as well as familiarity with FDA and regulatory guidance documents related to pharmaceutical labeling.

The salary range for this position is: $99,790.00 - $129,140.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
