Position Summary

The Strategic Finance Director will spearhead deeper financial analysis of the Front Store business by providing independent and trusted evaluations.

This individual will own and drive the analysis of shadow P&Ls while working to improve partnerships with cross-functional teams and influence senior leader decision makers on strategic and operational decisions through the development of well-researched, organized and clear financial analysis.

They will centralize and automate timely and reliable tools for analyzing the business.

They will partner with leadership on special projects across initiatives, assortment, promotions, pricing, cost negotiation, inventory and supply chain, store optimization and more.

Additionally, they will create modern BI dashboards and visualization tools to help summarize business KPIs and provide the team with actionable recommendations to improve the business, while forming strong business partnerships with others at the Vice President and Director level.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of finance experience in a retail business: including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

10+ years of Retail ERP systems and Microsoft Excel experience required.

10 + years of building strong relationships and communication with cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience leading, organizing, developing and empowering a to perform at their best while also influencing multiple high-performing, cross-functional teams. 

10 + years experience assembling and owning a P&L and providing independent financial analysis and demonstrated ability to optimize outcomes through engagement, metrics, and performance management.

Proven experience organizing and managing large data sets in a fast-paced retail environment. Adept ability to democratize financial data in a complex organization.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of Retail or CPG industry experience

Education

Bachelor's degree is required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
