We are looking for Incoming Quality Engineer – Rolling Stock

You’ll make a difference by

• The responsibility of this position is to verification for a specified product related commodity the required quality level for all material which is supplied to the manufacturing lines in the Dahod site. The main activities include:
• To perform Incoming Inspection activities as per latest Inspection and Test Plan within specified time frame.
• Solid knowledge of Engineering drawing specifications and understanding of drawing requirements.
• Hands on experience for inspection of Fabricated/Mechanical/Electrical parts and knowledge of different measuring equipment’s.
• Managing verification of Incoming parts and updating of the status in SAP system.
• Assuring Non-Conformity Report (NCR) in case of deviation observed during Inspection and communication to concern Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer /Buyer/Delivery Mgmt.
• Requesting Corrective and Preventive Action through Buyer/Delivery Mgmt./ Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Managing Supplier Certificates of Conformity for incoming material.
• To Perform Material Review activity (MRB) effectively. Closely Co-ordination with all departments for execution of defined task within time Frame.
• Regular visits/audits to supplier manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance to quality norms if required.
• Measure & report quality performance of critical suppliers for specified commodity to Group QA
• Support in preparing RCA and corrective / preventive action processes of supplier quality issues as certain effective implementation of CAPA
• Support in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities within supply chain
• Promote use of techniques of continuous improvement e.g. lean, six sigma, FMEA etc.
• Ensure adherence with applicable quality management system

Desired Skills:

• You should have minimum experience of 6-9 years in Incoming Quality, Supplier Quality, quality management, preferably in Rolling Stock
• Should be proficient in English and Hindi.
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite and administrative applications.
