The HRIS Analyst II is responsible in the area of business requested initiatives- projects, enhancements. This position is also required to provide L2 support for our Workday HR system and other HCM applications. Activities include but are not limited to simple report updates/creation, troubleshooting system requests and issues, performing routine system maintenance, assisting with the execution of system issue resolution and loading of data. 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • 50% - Provides tier 2 incident and request support for all employees with a customer service focus by researching and resolving submitted tickets, communicating with other support teams to discuss issues and resolutions, documenting all items clearly and concisely within the ticket tracking system & escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • 20% - Identifies process improvement or automation opportunities by reviewing reported issues & support request tickets, supported processes, documenting the as-is and to-be processes and implementing changes in order to save time or costs to the business and/or improve data integrity. 
  • 15% - Implementing simple business requested initiatives/projects. Create and modify reports as requested by the business. 
  • 10% - Assists project teams with capturing detailed requirements, user acceptance testing and reviewing operational impacts to ensure viability of new system development and effective deployment of updates. 
  • 5% - Reviews and validates or personally performs loads and validations of data into systems using load utility tools or programs when large amounts of data are not able to be entered timely or efficiently by keying. 

Additional Duties: 

  • May act as a liaison between internal customers and external vendors
  • Maintains and tracks all issues/work using standard Issue Tracking Processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Core Requirements: 

  • Minimum of a 2-4 year degree required: Business Administration or Information Systems concentration or equivalent 
  • Previous experience in Human Resources Information Systems is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of relational databases, applicant tracking systems, enterprise resource planning systems and report writing, working knowledge and/or experience with Workday HCM is a plus.
  • Good written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate among technical and non-technical employees, and process orientation skills
  • A customer driven approach and good customer management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, be highly organized, and work independently
  • Ability to identify problems and apply creative solutions
  • Ability to manage many tasks while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail, accuracy and poise under pressure 
  • Must have collaborative work style 
  • Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Must be able to maintain strictest confidence
