Job Summary

The Knowledge Analyst coordinates development of content, value-added research and reporting to support Risk Consulting in delivery of value to clients. The Knowledge Analyst supports the development of technology solutions for the Risk Consulting practice by advising developers as to data capture and content needs. This position operates content development processes by managing priorities, coordinating with responsible developers, confirming appropriate technical review is performed and providing necessary communications. This position also supports other Risk Consulting initiatives, as assigned. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes Knowledge Sharing through overseeing the development of content in support of service delivery.
  • Supports the development of technology solutions for the Risk Consulting practice.
  • Advises software developers as to data capture and content needs.
  • Maintains Risk Knowledge Center content within SharePoint, including posting new resources and monitoring existing content for continued relevance.
  • Acts as a reviewer and editor for content developed.
  • Reviews content classifications for consistency and makes updates as needed.
  • Responds to questions timely; directs questions to appropriate resources.  
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all activities.
  • Communicates Knowledge Management activities to key stakeholders, as needed.
  • Coordinates responsibilities effectively and displays a commitment to excellence; searches for ways to improve existing Knowledge Management processes and outputs.
  • Supports other Risk Consulting initiatives, as assigned.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree; business related area.
  • CPA or CIA certification preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in risk consulting.
  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies. Ability to combine research/investigative skills, technical expertise in audit and industry knowledge to create summary reports.
